Growing up in the industry, it was hard for Sean Mitchell not to get captivated by the magic of movies. Some of his first memories being of that in a theater, and critiquing movies with his father (things like how was the actors performance, what was the message, or how well did the director execute his message) his love for cinema grew and grew. Finding any sort of way to learn more about story telling and how to make it captivating on screen, he would go on to take editing and writing classes in college, and take any classes on acting he could within or without school. Movies to Sean Mitchell aren't just about art or story telling, it's about making someone feel something. Whether it's magical, thought provoking, or coming to terms with ones own struggles, or maybe even a way to forget about one's own struggles for just a moment to remember there is the joy in the world.
